Green Mango Smoothie


This smoothie is the easiest thing to make ever and is a great way to get some nutrients in alongside your breakfast or as a snack! Smoothies can't count as more than 1 of your 5 a day because when we blend them, we break down a lot of the fibre which increases the sugar availability. However they are still loaded with vitamins and minerals! The best thing about this smoothie is that you seriously cannot taste the spinach, so it is a great way to get some greens in if you aren't a fan.


Green Mango Smoothie

Serves 2

Time: 5 minutes



2 cups frozen mango

2 small or 1 large banana

2 cups almond milk

2 handfuls spinach

2 scoops collagen powder (optional)



1. First add your spinach and almond milk to the blender and blend until smooth.

2. Add in the mango and banana and blend on a high setting (ice crushing if you have it) until smooth.

3. Finally add the collagen if desired and quickly blend.

4. Serve split between two glasses and enjoy!
