5 Minute, 5 Ingredient Mango Salsa


After picking up a mango in the shops on a whim and trying to decide what to do with it, I suddenly became inspired to make some mango salsa. I am a massive fan of fresh salsa, particularly when it has citrus fruit in it, pineapple and mango salsa are my absolute faves! The fresh, citrus flavour pairs so well with the lime and coriander and tastes even better on a crisp tortilla chip. This salsa takes 5 minutes to make and requires 5 simple ingredients for a delicious side dish. I also adore this with fish tacos - so yum!

Mango Salsa

Serves: 4

Time: 5 minutes


1 ripe mango

1/2 red onion

Small bunch of coriander

1/2 tsp sea salt

Juice of 1 lime


  1. Peel and dice the mango in to 1 cm cubes, discarding the pit.

  2. Finely dice the red onion and roughly chop the coriander.

  3. Mix the mango, onion, coriander, lime juice and salt in a small bowl.

  4. Enjoy!

Will stay fresh for 3 days in an airtight container in the fridge.
